Crystal clear - now I have to put on makeup before using it! March 10, 2010 metaluna00 (San Diego) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've always used Logitech webcams and this is my third one. The Carl Zeiss lens is amazing! Every detail can now be seen - crystal clear optics, which might not be a good thing! The vid program is great and you can choose many options. I deleted all previous Logitech webcam drivers and programs before installing the software. Installation was fast and easy. I'm VERY happy with this webcam and you will be too.

I am really happy with my purchase of this webcam. The quality is very good and clear. I am impressed. It is the best quality I've seen as I've been talking to my friends over skype. I recommend it. I love it!
Works great - very high quality March 8, 2010 Stephen J. Carmichael (Creswell, OR) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It installed easily and worked right away. I did have a problem creating videos to upload to UTube so I could send video messages to my email friends. The video went through fine, but I had no sound. I contacted support and got information that I needed to change the setting in my windows sound recorder. Once I did that it works just fine. The product does save files in a .wmv format which creates fairly large video files. I found a program to convert those files to .flv files and the file size was reduced by two thirds and seemed to work just as well.
Great video and microphone. I can now talk to my grand kids on SKYPE and get to see them too!
Logitech 9000 Webcam March 6, 2010 Lowell E. Foster (Raleigh NC) Love the product, but have had mic problems in transmitting. Making full connection has been intermittent - sometimes a restart will take care of it, sometimes unplugging and replugging the USB connection will take care of it. Chipmunks still showed up prior to successfully connecting. We have checked and rechecked and rechecked connections, software settings etc. None of those action seemed to have a permanent fix. I am running Snow Leopard on a MacMini. We just a few minutes ago dropped the Khz from 48K to 32K and will see if that makes a difference. This idea came from reading reviews. If you know any thing better, please advise.....
